frog ftk discussion

hey forum people superyoshi109 here and i want to talk about frog ftk

ok so for those of you who dont know how the deck works here you go

you bring back ronintoadin A LOT of times (like 17 to 20) and tribute it with mass driver. however to bring ronintoadin back you have to get it in the grave which is what swap frog does because when swap frog is summoned you take any lv. 2 water in your deck and send it to the grave and he can be special summoned from the hand too by sending any water monster to the grave. also u HAVE to have substitoad his effect is tribute a monster to special summon a frog and can be used as many times as you want a turn. u use the effect to send all frogs to the grave by continuously tributing with substitoad. once you are done with this you should have a frog or two on the field and the rest in your grave. play mass driver which says you can tribute a monster to deal 400 direct damage to your opponents life points. so tribute the two monster on the field to deal 800 you should have just enough frogs in the grave to special summon ronintoadin 18 times (or possibly more) which will kill your opponent. (ronintoadins effect is you can remove a frog from your grave to special summon it from the grave.)

this deck is rlly rlly cheap and costs no more than $25 and can beat any of the top tier decks. i personally think the deck is amazingly consistent because it draws so much and theres so much support to make this deck possible.

so what do you think is the deck good or is it inconsistent plz comment.

deck autoloses to mained dusts and backrow hate played it and lost but side deck dealt with it for me at a regional

not really, on a regular basis, there should be 2 DT mained, one MST, which means you only have 3/40 chance to draw a DT, or MST.
3/40 for 1st card
3/39 for 2nd card
3/38 for 3rd card
etc.

and unless they have ALL three DT and MST set first turn, you will win if you draw 2 Drivers

this frog ftk deck has sealed frogs future after this format

unless you ran Cannon Soldier, which then wouldn't make it an FTK, unless you ran double summons =/

Mass Driver FTK.

Trishula spam FTK.

They need to limit Substitoad...

i just started plyin frog ftk and it is s freakin cheap (so good or cheap) it will dominate this format

Substitoad will get touched before Ronin ever does...

nah theyll hit ronintoad first its similar to mezuki
on that note if anything happens to frogs it will all be at the same time

You need

Swap Frog/Substitoad
Mass Driver
a WATER monster/One for One
a WATER monster/Swap Frog

4.56% of getting the cards on your first turn without any other draw cards.

Expect Substitoad to be hit first

You forget then you will have 6 cards in you opening hand.

Substitoad is probaly going to 1 Rollintoad we will not seen be hit but maybe a Swap Frog on 2?
I have only playing frogs one time, and that was frog monarch, i got undefeated that day, and i was only playing 1 substitoad.
What helps me what the swap frog.

Substitoad is what makes the deck... it will get hit first.
